GameStop now owns 43,390,383 $EBAY shares — nearly 10% of the company — and Cohen told the FT: “I want to own eBay — that’s all I’ve been thinking about.” He also confirmed: • all options remain on the table • GameStop is speaking with major eBay shareholders • the $125/share offer still stands • he sees this as a choice between himself and eBay’s current CEO This has clearly moved beyond a casual proposal.
