“I am not a victim. Ed Sheeran is not a victim. Pink is not a victim. We have careers, money, opportunities, safety and audiences around the world. Whatever consequences any of us face for what we say, we get to go home to our families. The victims are the Palestinian people. The men, women and children who have been killed, starved, displaced and forced to live through unimaginable violence. More than 20,000 children have been killed in Gaza alone.”

Macklemore says Ed Sheeran and his team decided to remove him from tour due to his comments in support of Palestine, after Kraft Group rallied stadium owners and gave Ed an ultimatum: “[Ed] told me that the words ‘Free Palestine’ and the image of the Palestinian flag were

i've been loving how they're showing women's lack of autonomy, and grasping for the power to control their own lives. even when a character 'has it coming' it's devastating to watch how little control they have.

So far the story is very much—life as a woman is hard whether you’re poor, rich, young, old, educated, illiterate, orphaned, or have two living parents. Some choose to navigate that reality by gaining power and resources. Others build community.

Agree with all the criticisms so far. The fact that they can travel in and out of Israel, (compared to for example flotilla activists who get kidnapped on international waters) should give you an idea how much of a threat Israel sees them. They don’t. This is part of Zionist pr.

My fav kiss scene in the novel is when Nanyi discovers all of Xie Queshan's lies and corners him. She keeps firing questions at him, and when he realizes he can neither lie nor tell the truth, he just kisses her to shut her up lol. If you can't beat your enemy, kiss them. XD

Damn— how many kissing scenes does Nan Yi and Xie Queshan have 🫣. Steamy kisses always turn into laughter 😂 #DancingwiththeTides #LuYuxiao #TanJianci

Today is Land Day. 50 years ago today, six un-armed Palestinians were killed by Israeli forces and more than 100 were injured during protests against Israel’s confiscation of Palestinian land. Palestinians observe today by holding protest marches and planting olive trees.
