My 10-day forecast has highs ranging from 85 to 92. Normal summer temps. And my area of North America is in the midst of a 500 year drought. But then, conservatives largely aren't rejecting global warming in reaction to leftists being annoying. We understand the science much better, and we understand the manipulations of the science much better, such as measurements of urban area heat islands vs a more accurate satellite measurements across the globe. We also understand how to make maps look scary. We understand that we are still coming out of an ice age, and that the the Earth will get warmer, and that it has been hotter than it is before. It appears abnormal if you look at only a very slight slice of history. Which is what that infamous hockey stick graph was doing. If you zoom out, you will see it is merely oart if normal variations. Climate changes. We also understand that for whatever human activity impacts the climate pales next to the influence of the sun. Did you know that while the sun is not noticeably hotter and slightly cooler since the 70s, more sunlight hits areas of the earth like Europe because of decreased air pollution and cloud cover? Maybe increasing our carbon footprint will cool the planet? We also understand that leftists arent annoying, they are dangerous. They are using inevitable climate trends to justify their own authoritarianism and policies that will not affect the climate but impoverish vast swaths of people (sltho they and select cronies get rich off of subsidie or bureaucratic sinecures), even as they advocate a reduced population -- conveniently not saying how they intend to achieve depopulation. We also know how depopulation usually occurs in history. Those policies are a greater danger than any weather forecast.
