More trades feels like more proof, that's the real reason people chase speed. A slow system barely gives you enough of a sample to trust it. But those fast trades are the exact ones costs eat alive, so all that lovely significance is validating an edge that dies the second it goes live.

@TheOneLanceB The common thread in all those blowups is discretion, they keep sizing up off the confidence a hot run gives them. Take the ego out and let a bot size the same whether your up 300% or deep in drawdown, that whole failure mode just disappears.

@iamdisplacement @edgeful Only issue is scanning all 150 and rotating into whatever looks best in your lookback is just fitting to the last few weeks of noise. Half the time a report that stopped working is a normal drawdown and youd be bailing right before it comes back.

@HolaPrimeGlobal Reaching five payouts has less to do with re-choosing the same firm and more with never being loyal to any of them. You run a few at once and cash out wherever the rules actually let you collect, the moment one stops paying clean your already funded somewhere else.

There is no reason to do it slow with prop firm model more trades with high leverage gets you to payout faster to rapid scale buy new challenges keep expanding. Just blow account move on to next, gamblers mentality is what makes you win as long as you use right position sizing and model the firm first.

Makes sense, the macro takes are mostly retail reverse engineering a story from price because the funding plumbing is the one layer we never get to see. Running fully algo I dont even try to trade the reason, the stress shows up in price eventually and the system just reacts to that.
