Not long after everything we had already been through, another problem began to surface. Pain started in my knees and legs, and once again it was becoming difficult to walk. Like most people, I tried to manage it on my own. “Cathy, I need help. I’m outside by the garage.”
At one point, I was sent to a military base in Indiana for six weeks. I was not supposed to bring my wife. I was not supposed to bring a cat. Since I was supposed to be by myself, they assigned me to the Bachelor Officers Quarters (BOQ). Preorder now shorturl.at/CQTlQ

I didn't choose the setback. But I eventually realized it was taking me somewhere I couldn't see at the time. After falling and severely damaging both legs, I had to learn how to walk again. It was frustrating, humbling, and at times overwhelming. But I kept going.
