Year 9 Food Science update🥗 Our pupils have been learning about the legalities around food packaging and how it is used to protect, preserve, inform and help market products.
Y8 PSHE 📚 Our Y8s have been looking at the topic “changing bodies” recently with a focus on what changes can occur during teenage years and how the teenage brain functions including how sleep affects the human brain, how risk taking is perceived & different parts of the brain.
💚Year 9 Green House sold Ice creams and cakes this lunch time to raise money for the wonderful Ronald McDonald charity! Thank you for all your support💚@RMHGlobal

🎨Year 7 have produced detailed artist studies of the artist Hundertwasser. They have looked closely at his work that depicts the link between nature and humans. If you look closely, you can see human features appearing in the landscape.

📖Y9 History📖 Y9 students were privileged to take part in the Testimony 360 workshop run by the Holocaust Educational Trust. Students were introduced to the late Manfred Goldberg & followed the story of his life before, during and after the Holocaust, using VR technology.

Careers in English: To align with writing our own Sherlock Holmes stories Y9 researched the world of publishing and the big publishing houses here in the UK. Y8 are studying the art of rhetoric language using a range of celebrated speeches.
Book Fair 📚 It has been a wonderful week with our students spending a dedicated amount of time in the book fair, exploring books and reading together. Students who made purchases will be getting Gold Reader passes so that their reading can contribute to their English H/W.
🎳 Bowling Trip🎳 A group of our fantastic students enjoyed a well-deserved bowling trip this week as a reward for their hard work, dedication, and positive attitudes. It was wonderful to see so much laughter, teamwork, and some very impressive bowling skills on display!
🏈Well Done Charlie Year 7🏈 Charlie won the Coaches Player of the Season trophy for the U12’s team at Ashford Rugby Club.
