MARRIAGE IS SLOWLY LOSING ITS ESSENCE …😢😢 People need to understand that Marriage is not a contract that you terminate when things get uncomfortable or when some of your needs are not met, when you make you vows, you’re making a covenant not just to your partner but to God that you will stay faithful even in the hard times When you say in the good and bad times, do you really mean it, because recently, a few bad moments and people are are parting In sickness and in pain, in wealth and in poverty, do people understand the magnitude of these vows before they utter them..? If you do not trust yourself to keep sacred vows then it’s better not to make them. God has no kind words in Malachi 2:14 for those that break marriage covenants “You cry out, “Why doesn’t the LORD accept my worship?” I’ll tell you why! Because the LORD witnessed the vows you and your wife made when you were young. But you have been unfaithful to her, though she remained your faithful partner, the wife of your marriage vows.” If you’re single and are not yet married, don’t be in a rush to do so, take your time and be sure that the person you choose to make this covenant with will be one that makes it easier for you to uphold it. And if you’re already married, pray to God to give you the strength, wisdom, patience, love, and resilience to uphold the covenant that you made to your partner. Some people have written off marriage and have said it’s not realistic and it’s not impossible in today’s age, but I want to remind you that Jesus says in Matthew 19:26 that “with man it might look impossible, but with God all things are possible.
