v1.0.22 of Clean Links for iOS and macOS was just released. 🎉 This release is primarily an iOS/macOS 27 compatibility release, along with some minor cleanup improvements (like the new google search goto links, etc).
v1.0.22 of Clean Links for iOS was just released. 🎉 In this release, we’ve added a long requested feature: the ability to scan and inspect WiFi QR codes and also, optionally join the network. Also, support for cleaning up many new tracking parameters (eg: Instagram stkn, etc).
@gabrielelosurdo Hi Gabriele! Thanks! Given our privacy focus, all cleanup happens on-device. This means that we constantly have to keep shipping updates to catch-up with trackers. And we’re happy to do that. v1.0.22 update was just released; it handles the IG stkn params amongst other things.
We've just released Clean Links v1.0.21 for macOS and iOS . In this release, amongst many other things, one feature that we've always wanted: the ability to convert Google Maps links to Apple Maps links and vice-versa. We hope you like it!
@AndrewRPretty Instagram changed it, last week. We’ve added support for it, amongst other things in the upcoming 1.0.22 update.
@AndrewRPretty Thanks for clarifying. We tried to repro the shortcuts issue you reported, to no avail. Is this the new “stkn” parameter in Instagram URLs? Someone reported it on our discord and the fix is queued up for the next release. If not, please DM us with an example or two.

@elmagickninja Zucc changed the tracking parameter from igsh to igsi, most likely to work around apps like ours. This has been fixed and deployed on the web version, but the app version is lagging behind because app reviews by Apple are slower over the weekend.
Clean Links v1.0.16 is live: Safari extension now strips tracking parameters before pages open on iPhone, iPad, and Mac. It uses Safari's declarativeNetRequest API, so cleanup happens privately in your browser during navigation. As always, nothing leaves your device.

We just added Safari extension support to Clean Links on iPhone, iPad, and Mac. And if you want zero outbound connections, you can turn on "Disable Network Requests." In that mode, known tracking parameters are still removed, but short links stay shortened.
Coming soon in the next update to Clean Links for macOS. Spot and clean tracking URLs on any website. Works fully offline. Also available on iOS.
@wstwd It’ll go away on its own in about a week. You could’ve turned it off in the app settings on the laptop, before wiping it. Although, if you’re already erased the laptop, there’s nothing to do. We’ll try to come up with a better way to do it in a future update.
Version 1.0.12 of Clean Links for iOS and macOS were released today. This version adds limited support for older devices running iOS 17.6 and macOS 14.6, amongst other things.
@Revolt666 Thanks for flagging that. We received numerous DMs and emails from users about it yesterday. It most likely changed yesterday. An update with support for it is already on its way and currently awaiting App Store review.
