"You", "Your", "You", "You", "You" The film's marketing was almost entirely second-person. There is an assumptiveness that you are like Michael. There's a reason so many grown adults came out of Click sobbing.
@tpstoner1 I've never seen a movie so directly targeted to bait deadbeat dads with its promotional material before, only to rip the rug from under them.
And lastly, our final character spotlight as we count down to #20yearsofClick is of course Michael Newman! This whelp of a man, this oafish slob, this dogshit dad - Michael learns his lesson 50% through the film, and yet the script (rightfully) keeps punishing him until he dies.
Click (2006) really is like this:
At the start of the film, Michael is passionate about atriums in his projects which goes underappreciated, gaining the monicker "Atrium Boy" at work. When his son shows an interest in pizza being in his designs, he repeats that violence by mockingly calling him "Pizza Boy"

Talk about plot holes! At 3:25, Michael is holding an apple in his hand. Yet we the audience are deprived of seeing him eat the apple! Boy I sure hope someone got fired for that blunder
