Claude availability is ... pretty bad. I ran into Claude's 'model un-available' errors again today with my coding harness that pairs Claude Code & Codex (@CodeMowerAI; open source version coming soon-ish). When digging in, Claude's stated availability is 98.8%. That may seem pretty good (almost 99%!), but it's pretty bad in the scheme of things for customers & businesses that have integrated Claude into mission-critical services. Here's a downtime calculator I used when running large-scale services at Google (Ads, Gmail/ Calendar/ Docs) that customers counted on.
