Been quiet for a week. Designing the ai layer for a talent scheduler i'm building. Everyone slaps multi-agent on everything now. The harder call was deciding what should NOT be an agent. Pay and scheduling are deterministic rules, so they stay plain code. no llm needed. Agents for the messy language parts. Plain functions for the math.

Your for loop keeps everything. Even the 120 bpm you'll never use. One line fixes that: if bpm >= 128: Now it only keeps the fast ones. The rest just gets skipped. #Python
Your for loop can keep score. Start at 0. Add each bpm as you go. total += bpm 0, 140, 260, 388. The loop remembers every step. #Python
