I agree. Thinkers like Augustine and Aquinas explicitly subordinated philosophy to revelation. Greek ideas helped *explain* or *systematize* biblical truths like using Aristotle's categories for Trinitarian doctrine or natural law, but they didn't define the content. Christianity transformed Greek ethics. For example, elevating humility and charity, which Greeks often saw as weakness.

He is not arguing in good faith. A 20-nt replicator is trivial compared to real biology. It doesn't code for proteins, enzymes, membranes, or anything resembling a digestive or immune system. It's bare-bones chemical copying in a test tube... not "complex specified information" that builds organs or survival systems. Calling it "complex" here is equivocating on the word, being purposefully dishonest. It's the same pattern he used with me before... assert the conclusion, use a real-but-limited example, then insult or block anyone who notes the huge remaining gaps.

Asserting that “any genome can become any other with enough mutations” is circular. It’s the very sufficiency claim you’re supposed to prove, not evidence. It still doesn’t explain how unguided processes originate the new specified information for novel Cambrian body plans and cell types that Hox genes only regulate. Claiming “we don’t know the genomes” or “few precambrian fossils” ignores the abrupt fossil pattern we do have, and injecting a “God in the gap” strawman misrepresents my entire point. The unguided mechanism remains insufficient.
