@APompliano This does have a giant sized loophole: you could be the best investment team ever - say, the quants at Renaissance - and not qualify because you weren’t an angel. In my book, turning $1 into $100 using nothing but the stock market is the absolute most impressive win of all.

@BennettTomlin @mattleising @CasPiancey It's more a cultural than tech innovation. One problem with the API setup is its clearly just Blizzard or whoever running it. If it stops being profitable for them, or they get tired of it: investment, gone (see: Google). On Ethereum (example) it's not vanishing so easily.

@crypto It's funny because it's a normative statement - Bitcoin should cost less - and a positive statement - Bitcoin's price fell therefore, by economic law, the price it was at before it fell was too high (for now). In its positive sense it's saying something true which we should hear.

@TheCryptoDog If there's one thing that seems like a smart bet, it's that the variety & methods for 'soft' drugs will increase. It used to just be liquor, drink, and cigarettes, smoke - boring & bad for you. Now it's broadened to marijuana, and vaping. Vaping caffeine seems like a next step.
