If you have a Lenovo laptop with 8th gen CPU, stay on Windows 10. Lenovo support does not recommed 11 as it casues unstability.
We still do not recommend windows 11 on any older PC. Habe a client with Lenovo Thinkpad yoga 3yrs old, laptop keeps freezing with Windows II. Support says this is a common issue on some desktops and laptops. Have to go back to 10 which means format and reinstall.

I recommend to tighten up your routers security. Disable PNP (plug and play) make sure your firewall is on and set to medium or high. If you have a Telus Action tech router the firewall is off by default!
If you have an email that you suspect is junk or spam, verify the email address it is coming from. If you use Outlook desktop, click “view headers” top right corner to reveal the true address. You can also start an email forward, then view the "Original message" below.
If you are buying a used computer, buy a business class system. They have up to 6 years of manufacture driver updates. Consumer have only 3 years, these updates are also part of the system security.
If you want to upgrade to Windows 11, you need a CPU that is 2018 or newer, example: intel i5-8xxx 2018 CPU have fix a security flaw, that is why.
Outlook update bug prevents viewing or creating emails. Recommend to disable office updates for couple of days if your Outlook is still working. If you are impacted use your webmail for email. The current fix is to roll back office to April 2021 release and pause updates.
Backups: Put in your calendar a weekly reoccurring event to test your backup, by recovering a recent file. This is for both local and online backup systems.

Android TD Bank app maybe compromised. If you use the call now button in the app help center, it dials main number, then another card number. It may capture your security password from the keypad. Recommend to remove the app, clear the cache and reinstall.
