@RougeRuminant Yeah hun is annoying, I think I might not be bothered as much by love going forward (I’ve learned it’s a very common regional term) but if people do t know that it can come across… a bit icky from a stranger.

@rayj6569 Many people find terms of endearment to be disingenuous and condescending when from a stranger. I’m glad Ive found out that this specific term is something that is common regionally. In service you can be exceptional without using terms of endearment and exceptional using them.

@ChadK_Edm I loved the east coast, we made it through pei and Nova Scotia last time, my in-laws have an off the grid cabin in Newfoundland so I’m sure we’ll make out one day, they think everyone they’ve met is crazy nice.

@tycartstone Well, it’s good to know it’s a British and Newfoundland thing, but it does some like about 50% of the responses don’t dig it. I can say, I feel more informed but it can definitely be overused.
