Purely convenience. As someone who cooks rice often, it’s easier to just throw it in the rice cooker and walk away and not worry about it. Opposed to catching the rice on the stove at the right time to turn it down to low. Also, you can use it for food other than rice.

Say what you want about Spirit, I always felt the safest flying a Spirit flight. Sad to see an affordable airline go.

@ToastedPandaa @TheRealJChubby With the current state, especially now, of where things are in this country, and with your experience, I would expect you to understand much more how adults can still end up homeless. It’s not rocket science.

@elemenop718 @TheRealJChubby And you’ve made that decision, which is fine. However, I am allowed to say that’s a trash opinion and you seem to lack empathy for humans. End of story,

@elemenop718 @TheRealJChubby C) You can have empathy, but also have the awareness that your job position requires you to make decisions based on facts and evidence. This judge should probably be removed and disbarred (if what you’re saying is true)

@elemenop718 @TheRealJChubby Additionally, if you do think empathy can be regained, are you just choosing to not have empathy for the homeless? Cause, once again, I’ve been through extreme traumatic moments in my life and if anything, I think it gave me even more empathy for those around me.

@elemenop718 @TheRealJChubby You’re projecting, cause I’m the first to blame myself before I blame a single other person or entity 😂 However, I do understand external factors and how they play into our daily lives. So the blame sometimes has to be shared.

@elemenop718 @TheRealJChubby I’ll look into these. But, do you think empathy can be brought back to “pre significant trauma” levels? Or, once it’s gone it’s just gone?

@elemenop718 @TheRealJChubby When you “wake up” each day not knowing where your next meal is coming from, or where can you use the bathroom just to feel a little more human, that’s going to start affecting how you view the world and others, especially those that look down on you instead of sympathizing.

@elemenop718 @TheRealJChubby That’s not how empathy works 😂 However, even in my own struggle (and I have/am continuing to STRUGGLE), I can look around at those also struggling and not compare myself to them. I understand there’s systems in placed designed to keep people struggling.

It’s so sad where we are in this country right now. Americans are way too individualistic and it’s going to be the downfall of us. We can’t see outside ourselves, so we’ll never unite to defeat a common bad.

@elemenop718 @TheRealJChubby I can’t have a debate with people on this topic when they refuse to have empathy for humans. You all don’t see the homeless as one of us, you view them as rejects to society not worthy of basic humanity. And that will forever be wild to me.

@elemenop718 @TheRealJChubby Do you feel better now? Talking down to those who are struggling? I’m not even gonna try to explain how someone could end up where this man in this video is, cause you don’t care in the slightest. Hope the stability of your income never fails, cause you wouldn’t make it homeless

@ToastedPandaa @TheRealJChubby Wrong. But clearly you’re not trying to look at the reality of being homeless in this country. Let’s hope you never have to experience it.

@elemenop718 @TheRealJChubby Hey man, just because the few homeless people you see everyday aren’t able to work, doesn’t mean that homeless individuals across the board are not working. Many of them are and, as stated in the original post, hold multiple jobs 👍🏾
