@ajayrotti Important nuance to remember: IGST is accounted at source & recorded gross. High manufacturing states show massive upfront numbers, but the Center later assigns that IGST to destination states where sales actually happen. Real consumption shifts the final revenue.

Truly! Although I believe it's stupid of Trump to shut it down for world markets so early without substantial tangible stories of cost justified productivity gains with the use of AI. He is basically shooing away world market towards next best i.e China. Now, models don't mean anything. Model training and distribution capacity across tech stack is important. Like Jensen says AI is 5 layered cake. Energy, Chips(design and fabrication), Infrastructure (Cloud Service Providers), Models, Applications. China can sort Energy, Cloud service providers(Alibaba), models(Deepseek, GLM, Kimi, etc.,). But Chips and Applications which are crucial for AI business to thrive is dominated by US. By Nvidia export ban, Trump has pushed China into investing in chips, Huawei is showing early signs of catching up already. With regard to Applications, restricting top models to US people would make Chinese models seem lucrative for price. The trust deficit of China would be shadowed by the opportunity the price difference presents. China can soon work on AI orchestration, inference efficiency and grab more of value chain. It would be naive of India to tackle AI by just building State of the world Model and ignoring other facets. Models don't mean anything. India should make steps towards all of the 5 layers aggressively. Energy production, Own chip design and fabrication (with foreign JVs), Own CSPs, Models would be bi product and would anyways be happening and finally after US, India should be the natural next in the world to create tech products that scale world wide.

India hasn't made any progress for more than a decade in merchandise. - Out of 956B USD services and merchandise are roughly same. - So merchandise ~ 500B. For China it's 3.3T so 6.5x not in merchandise. - Also India's largest export being petroleum is a joke too! We don't have enough petroleum to cater our needs. So essentially we import 100B of crude oil in this 500B to refine at very for margins and export back to the world. Similarly we do it for diamonds as well. Import raw diamonds, refine and sell it. Remove other raw materials with very low margins we end up at 250B merchandise exports. This 250B as well we have generic pharma, electronics assembly, etc., which again have very low margins. - We are in a destitute phase need to improve radically rather than being comfortable. - We had humble beginnings and right now seeing little money but that is nothing given the mouths we have to feed. - Govt should invest heavily in R&D so that we innovate and export high margin products. Ruling parties should also get rid of dependency of their rich friends to win elections for which they have to pass contracts for dead cheap price. Because these rich guys play it safe, does arbitrage businesses to fool the govt of progress and doing the heavy lifting while not spending anything on research.

Hyderabad is the richest princely state in British India during Independence. Telangana movement started because AP people dominated govt jobs in Telangana and politicians developed AP more than rest of TS. Hyderabad's ruling elite left India and Hyderabad(state) internal administration was never part of British rule. When India got Independence the bureaucratic and legal framework was continued as is as it was during the british. There were very few british in the british governance pre independence. Leaving top posts most of the government and army were Indians and their positions and systems continued as is. Where as in Telangana the ruling elite left, the left over beuracrats, lega professionals followed a different system for 1.5 centuries. AP was following the system India adopted for already 1.5 centuries so naturally AP people dominated in combined Andhra Pradesh. Also there isn't a single city of Hyderabad's stature in the combined to make it as a capital. If it were made regardless, it would be just as insignificant like Raipur/Bhopal/Trivandrum,etc.,

Telangana population: 3.87 Cr Andhra population: 5.37 Cr Per capita income wise TS is 1.43 times richer than AP Now; 54% seems very optimistic to me but let me argue with that. the remaining 46% of 18 is 8.28 Lakh crores not 7 Lakh (proves you are stupid! already) Bihar population: 13.29 cr (3.43x of TS) GDP: 13 Lakh cr (TS for 2.87 Cr population (Hyd 1 Cr), has 8.28! makes it ~ 3 time richer than Bihar excluding Hyd!) GDP Per capita of TS excluding Hyderabad comes to 3048 USD which is higher than India (2813). GDP Per capita of AP is 3109 USD which is just as much as rest of TS excluding AP. This is despite TS separating from AP because of systemic neglect of TS excluding Hyd. So, most of the progress in the internal TS happened in last 12 yrs. Agricultural productivity went to roof, and administration improved with increased districts. Also all the best for Amaravati. My hypothesis is that great cities emerge in democracies not built. Naya Raipur, Chandigarh, Bhubaneswar, Dispur and Gandhi Nagar. Nothing emerged into a big cosmopolitan city. That's because political stars won't align always for a small state like AP whose population is just 5.37 Cr out of 143 Cr Indian population. If it were communist China and the party decides to flourish a city it would. It won't happen in India. For a city to emerge it needs hundreds of years of organic growth and breakout opportunity like it did for Hyderabad. In case of China it only needs uninterrupted state support for 4-5 decades and booming economy. It happened in case of Shenzhen but won't be possible in India. Case in point is Amaravati itself. What was Amaravati's outlook just 3 years ago? What happens if Congress comes to power and AP doesn't have single seat in Central Govt let alone have so much leverage that it can even destabilize central govt like it has now? Also would you dare run campaign like this in the US saying Silicon Valley is run by Indians or Telugu people else America has got nothing? Mind your words and lets us both thrive to develop competitively without hate towards each other!

She doesn't want to punch below her weight; So she want a groom who is successful, family of doctors and should do acts that makes her feel he loves her in just 10 days and it's "bare minimum". Else if she is choosing AM setup, the realistic and practical way to get married is let families do the talking for the person she likes, and if things fall in place(requirements and demands match); marriage takes place and the couple loves each other as they raise a family themselves. Cribbing doesn't change things. It's for the family to fulfil the "demands" not the girl with her own earning. There is an alternate way though. If you find love naturally; then even if you find a billionaire, or a beggar neither asks for dowry because you (truly) love each other.
