Over eight years ago, Farm Bureau launched Ag Days to celebrate National Ag Week. Over 8,100 students and 330 teachers have learned about dairy, pork, beef, corn, soybeans, nutrition, and agriculture and the environment by attending this program.
Illinois ranks first in the nation with $180 billion in processed food sales. In fact, the Chicago metropolitan area contains the largest concentration of food-related businesses in the world.
