Private individuals can list tickets for any price that they’d like to on StubHub. I’ve sold tickets for a couple of concerts I couldn’t make it to on there. I’ve also bought tickets a couple times for NASCAR Xfinity races from stubhub that were cheaper than the track was selling them for. You can still walk up to the track and buy tickets/pit passes as normal, as well as buying them on the WoO site. This is a whole lot of people upset about stuff they don’t understand… There are also DVDs available on eBay for $5 and then a few idiots asking $100 for the same dvd on ebay. Should I be mad about that as well?

I’ve kept track of every date, track, major series and winner since I’ve been going in a Google document. Never bothered counting though. Maybe I should but would take ages… Also how to count a night with like all 3 USAC series running, etc.. it counts as 1 because it’s one night? Or 3 as it’s 3 major touring series races? Only ever kept count of how many tracks.

I personally sold tickets on there for a couple of concerts I couldn’t make it to as well as bought some nascar Xfinity tickets(well below what the track sold them for) on there. I never had an issue. Not saying others haven’t had issues, just in my own experience, it’s been fine personally

@dusting53 @jshambaugh1j @tjslideways The WoO races aren’t the World Cup or a Taylor swift concert. They aren’t THAT in demand. I highly doubt they will significantly raise prices or make only the best seats available at a high price on a third party site

If you’re a race fan, attending only 2 races in a period of over 20 years seems like more than a money and time issue 😅 I’d think just about anyone could have made a few more shows than that with a little bit of effort… Idk what region of the country you are in, but there is even a lot of great short track racing going on in many regions of the US which is even more affordable than NASCAR national series, IMSA, etc…

I still see $35-40 for WoO late models in my region. High limit shows I’ve gone to were like $40 to $50. Big pavement shows usually $25-30 other than NASCAR tour mods tend to be $40. It’s not a cheap night out to bring a family but compared to other entertainment options, it’s definitely a bargain. Most tracks allow you to bring in food and drinks, so pack some sandwiches and cold drinks to keep the costs down 🏁

TBH, compared to inflation with other forms of entertainment, short track racing tickets still remain surprisingly unchanged in general IMO. I think they realize if they up it too much, the fan count will go down. Better off upping concession prices and keeping ticket prices fairly low. People always seem to buy food/beer no matter what it costs.

Richard Childress and Rick Hendrick aren’t out at your local short track scouting for talent racing in the Crown Vic class. To get in some lower forms of late models, Modifieds and sprint cars takes a ton of money.

@ScotteSprinkle I’ve attended NASCAR races on dirt at Eldora, Bristol, Las Vegas, Ohsweken as well as ARCA at DuQuoin and Springfield. It was fun, would be cool to see them back on a short dirt track again

Going through some stuff at the house. Came across these hats from my visit to Rockingham Motor Speedway in Corby, England in 2018 to see the British Touring Car Championship! 2018 was the final year from the track. Cool “roval” track, would’ve been neat to see something on the oval back in the day. Definitely want to get back to the UK to see the BTCC again sooner than later! @rockinghamUK @BTCC

While, not about Indianapolis, as I go to races more and more, I less wanna be in my seat. Mostly short track racing. Forget practice, maybeeeee time trials. I’ll definitely be there for heats. In my seat before the green flag of the feature . Otherwise, roaming the pits, roaming the fanzone, or hap time in the car

@mobiusb2 My one trip to the UK, I didn’t even know of Wetherspoons. After seeing all of your posts about it, when I go back to the UK someday, I’m definitely gonna check it out!
