I guess the strategies I’ve been working on in my classroom that I learned from my @ConsciousTching PD have been noticed because my student’s exact words today were “When did Ms. Crane go from a normal teacher to a cool kid teacher?” Didn’t know I wasn’t already cool. 🤪😂

Today, my students were engaged. Like really engaged. They asked meaningful questions, encouraged each other, laughed, danced with me, sang with me, learned something new. Y’all, every single student in my class turned in every single assignment. I am a PROUD teacher today. 💗

We watched a video about Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. this afternoon and then students wrote letters to Dr. King. Here are just a few of the very thoughtful pieces of writing created. In the words of Dr. King himself, "Hate cannot drive out hate. Only Love can do that." ❤️
