@StBrownPodcast USC doesn’t have a cryo chamber available in their facility?? 🤨 That’s wild! That should be a standard thing in every G5/P4 program. Your players shouldn’t have to go outside of their own facility/program for cryo & recovery. Especially w/ all the money these schools have.

@tommyreamon BTW heard from several people that attended this camp, that it was very poorly ran & organized. Too many kids & hardly any reps to actually make any real evaluations. So yeah, another money grab. My son just attended the @UNMLoboFB camp. Best camp we’ve been to over the yrs!

@CollegeFBPortal @DbkTristan @heitner These scenarios should always hold up in court because the NJCAA isn’t governed by the NCAA and has no affiliation or jurisdiction. But at some point the NCAA has to implement age restrictions. Which I believe is in the works, where everyone gets 5yrs of eligibility w/ no RS yrs.

@tommyreamon What do you think about camps now asking ‘26’s, juco kids, and transfers in the portal to attend? When every D1 school has told my son a c/o ‘26, that they don’t have any scholarships or roster spots available? Is there any real opportunity at these? Or just another money grab??

Why do they prefer grass? The 92% preference isn’t just opinion—it’s backed by NFLPA analysis of NFL injury tracking showing turf correlates with higher rates of certain lower-body injuries + plus players direct experience. 1. Non-contact lower extremity injuries: 28% higher rate on artificial turf vs. natural grass. 2. Non-contact knee injuries: 32% higher on turf. 3. Non-contact foot/ankle injuries: 69% higher on turf. 4. Injury rate: 1.22 per game on natural grass vs. 1.42 per game on artificial turf. 5. Odds of a season-ending injury requiring surgery were 60% higher on turf (odds ratio 1.60). [source NFLPA] Players consistently report their bodies feel better the next day on grass because grass feels less punishing on the body—less joint stiffness and overall wear.
