spydex.net From research of public data: Here are some alternatives that tried (or exist) - Native XRPL / Xahau Price Oracles (OracleSet, XLS-47, etc.): On-ledger price feeds from providers. Great for DeFi pricing, but they are price data oracles, not multi-node verification of individual trades/txns in a DEX interface. - Traditional oracle networks (DIA, Band Protocol, etc.): Integrated price feeds onto XRPL. Same focus…asset prices, not real-time trade confirmation consensus. - Conceptual / experimental Evernode oracles: Evernode’s own docs and whitepaper describe “on-demand oracles” (a jury of nodes agreeing on off-chain data). Early experiments (e.g. community projects moving tools onto HotPocket and planning small oracles) existed, but none integrated that into a live, production multi-node trade-verification system inside a public DEX UI. - Standard XRPL DEXes: Most rely on a single explorer, their own backend, or one node view. No independent multi-node consensus layer for every trade. Why SpyDex stands out? Well, for the time being it is the first and still the clearest public live implementation of a full multi-node @EvernodeXRPL consensus oracle specifically for trade/txn verification on an XRPL DEX. - Practical user-facing feature: real-time independent confirmation + visible green badge when nodes agree. - Combines our own dedicated rippled node with the Evernode oracle layer for extra trust minimization. - Solves a real user pain (“how do I know what I’m seeing is accurate?”) instead of just providing another price feed. In short, it is not another price oracle. Most cryptocurrencies are ran on narratives and greater fools. Evernode is ran as a business. While most coins have to wait for a fresh generation of greater fools getting credit worthy, Evernode will keep growing. Some in-efficient node operators will shut down operations, that will be long-term good. Those that remain are the efficient ones, and they will earn more evr's when the inefficient ones shut down. As the use of the network grow they will earn even more and be able to scale up their operations as demand increases. Demand increases when businesses on Evernode grow and when more people find and learn more about the project. The mechanism we have here will be allow the industry to grow even during bad times. It's a rare set of coincidences that put us here, but we're here and we are here for the long run.
