The Nigerian Dream can be understood as the aspiration that every Nigerian regardless of where they were born or who their parents are can build a prosperous, secure, dignified life through talent, education, hard work, enterprise, and access to opportunity. At its highest level, the Nigerian Dream is about building a country where you don’t have to leave Nigeria to become successful. I would define the modern Nigerian Dream as: “To have the freedom, wealth, capability and influence to determine the direction of your own life and to leave Nigeria better than you found it.” And importantly, it doesn't necessarily mean leaving Nigeria. The highest version could be having enough capital, competence and global reach to build world class businesses from Nigeria, employ thousands of Nigerians, own significant assets, and participate in shaping the country's future. With that being said is it still possible to have the Nigerian dream with today’s realities? 🤔

That’s has being the business model from day one. Acquire a large controlling stake of a cash generating buisiness , scale it fast , dominate the sector, use dividend to recover initial capital deployed, exit at the right time & move on to the next. Genius move imo …
