Game 78: (37-41) Beat Guadians 10-1 Yes, they played great but it’s just hard to get excited right now. I feel like this season is just a big tease. Steele is leading mlb in ERA. He is really looking good. The Lester comparisons are starting to really resonate

Game 75: (36-39) Lost 5-1 to Phils And the roller coaster ride continues. Cubs couldn’t get anything going and Taillon is less than inspiring. Hope we can turn it around tomorrow

Game 76: (37-39) Lost 5-7 to cards in London Welp, that kind of sucked. Got a 4-0 first inning lead with Stro on the mound and lost it. A Mancini mess up at 1B really messed up the whole game. I’m not sure he can play in the field on a good team

Game 75: (37-38) Beat Cards 9-1 Hello London!! The cubs are rolling and only 3 games out of first. Can get back to .500 tomorrow. Happer was great and steele continues to be a stud!! This is getting fun

Game 74: (36-38) Beat pirates 8-3 Hendricks is really looking healthy and strong again. It was fun to see. Nico was great today!!! Offense is really clicking. I hope the trip to England is a good one and doesn’t mess with the momentum

Game 71: (33-38) Lost 6-3 to Orioles Morel hit another HR and continues to just be awesome. Taillon is really struggling. Seems to be the weak link of the rotation right now. Just get back up for the 4 gamer in Pitt. 3 of 4 there would really be something….

Game 70: (33-37) Beat Orioles 3-2 Well, this is starting to be fun. Great timely hitting by Nico and then great execution by Tauchman. How about Steele!!!!! Let’s sweep the home stand tomorrow and get to Pitt with some momentum!

Game 69: (32-37) Beat Orioles 10-3 Well, things are certainly getting interesting. Cubs are creeping back closer to .500 and they are within 3 of first. Hendricks looks like the old prof and this offense is really starting to click. I am tempering my enthusiasm but it is there!

Game 67: (30-37) Beat Pirates 10-6 Really nice win. Came back from being down 5-1. That was a great one. No the offense can’t just disappear tomorrow afternoon. Gotta get the sweep!

Game 64: (28-36) Win at SF 4-0 The professor was dealing today. Nice win and a great performance but will be soured if they cannot get the sweep tomorrow
