@sephabeats Figuring out I’m autistic was game changing for me. I used to think I was defective and that’s why people have a hard time understanding me. Now I know I’m literally wired different and that’s just how it is. Removes the shame and replaces it with permission to be authentic.

@Greg1985 Of course you are. Try telling your inner critic that they shouldn’t talk to your friend Greg that way. Be a friend to yourself and defend yourself like you would any other friend. It takes practice, but works. Restating negative talk in a more gentle light helps too.
