You cannot sequence something that doesn't materially exist. Controlled Transmission: We have documented, peer-reviewed experiments where healthy volunteers were deliberately exposed to viruses (e.g., covid, influenza, rhinovirus) and subsequently developed specific illnesses, with the same virus re-isolated from them.
