Hello everyone, I’m sure a lot of you have been wondering what’s been going on. YouTube’s new AI bot has been going after my channel hard for any mention of Patreon and for linking to artists I work with. The first hit was on a recent video, which got taken down. Then two nights ago they came in heavy they hit every video that had the same Patreon link, and for some reason even went after my Twitch link. I’ve been doing everything I can to fix it. It’s taken a lot of time and has honestly been hell on me mentally. I went through and removed 10 years’ worth of links from nearly 3,000 videos. Don’t ask me how I did it one by one. There are two possible outcomes right now: 1. I get the strikes removed and we go back to normal. 2. The strike sticks and I’ll have to wait a week before I can post anything publicly this includes any videos you cant see at this moment. There’s no clear answer yet, but I’m confident I can get this sorted out. Quick PSA for other creators (especially anyone making content for older audiences): Do not use Linktree. Do not link any of your other pages to your channel if those pages have adult content (or even just link to people who do). The bot checks links inside of links. If you credit an artist who draws adult artwork, or an actor who has NSFW content on their Twitter/X, or even someone who simply shares NSFW stuff, you can get hit for it even if your video itself is clean only right there names nothing else do not link anything if at all. Protect your channels. As for me, I’m going to work within the system and follow the rules. I’ve never had real issues with this before, so I’m not too worried long-term. Do I agree with this new approach? No. I think creators should be able to label their channels for a certain age group and still link to places like Patreon. But none of us make the rules. I’m sorry if this worried any of you. I’m okay as I can be, but it’s been rough. If you want to stay up to date on my Patreon posts, please stay as a free member even if you have to cancel the paid one for a while. That way you’ll still see any updates I post there. Thank you all for the love and support you’ve given me over the years. I love you guys and I’m going to do everything I can to get this fixed from what I am being told the links are the only issue so this should be fixed in no time my other channels that had these claims too have had their strikes removed so that's some good news. No idea why my twitch got hit as there is nothing on it at all so the bots kinda just going crazy on anything.
