Despite recent central bank interventions, ie rate hikes & dollar auctions, real continues to weaken. The global macro monetary policy shifts in general must be followed closely if one is a producer. South American Soybean Production (#Brazil + #Argentina + #Uruguay + #Paraguay): If weather continues to hold, generally speaking, production could be headed north of +235MMT, which if realized would be nearly 20MMT higher YoY. Weather issues, should there be any, better start developing soon. The perception is Brazil could easily be north of 170MMT. The key to this entire soybean story at the moment comes down to Chinese demand if weather doesn't present challenges in this region.
