Thank you @Annareporting for continuing to share @NPLeaseholders stories. Living in these flats deemed ‘actively unsafe’ by @haringeycouncil is a cause of great anxiety. I worry every single day that by living here I’m putting my two young children’s lives in danger.

This is not the first time a ceiling has collapsed in one of the Noel Park pod properties. Unless works get going soon, it won’t be the last. This needs to be a warning. Haringey Council are neglecting Health & Safety obligations, as they have for years. Well, enough now. 1/10

The Noel Park pods, built in the early 1970s. Reached the end of their useful life by late 1980s. Still here and falling apart 30 years on. Tonight @haringeycouncil's Scrutiny Committee are reporting on the way the Council and @homes4haringey are handling the pods' replacement.
At this week’s @LabourHWG general committee, a motion in support of Noel Park leaseholders facing unjust charges was passed by 119 votes in favour to 19 against, with 13 abstentions. Another small victory in our long battle. But will @haringeycouncil listen? #LeaseholdScandal

On this day in 2018 we got the keys to our first home! It felt like a huge achievement after years of saving. Tragically, it’s now our biggest regret as @homes4haringey @haringeycouncil are charging us £68K for major works that will see us lose it all 😞 @NPLeaseholders
