One of our topics with my high school entrepreneurs today was: Sales is NOT about convincing; it's about filtering: Who wants something that you can offer? And of the things you offer, what do they want?
This is the future of education. The little moments we spend discussing sales, relationship building, communication, customer service, teamwork and other core business concepts.
Youth entrepreneurship to me should be the future of education. How do we not have this as the core of high school education today?
And I suppose having hashtags allows Twitter (sorry still struggling with X) to be more valuable in terms of finding notes than iOS notes
I suppose it doesn’t necessarily hurt because then anyone can get value out of it if anything I say is indeed valuable, and I can look back at and search through my old notes. Thoughts?
I hear people every week say they use X / Twitter as their stream of consciousness microblog- a the place to post ideas, get feedback, and hone in what #content topics to double down on, but my sense is that only works if you actually have a substantial following - am I wrong?
The Rule of 100: Spend 100 hours a year (or 18 minutes a day every day) on any skill, and you'll be better than 95% of people at it. Is this real? Can you really hit the top 5% with just 18 minutes a day?
