And now a peek at my final project PERSPECTIVES, influenced by Grace Bruxner (not in tone but in the diorama aspect) and the Limits & Demonstrations part of KRZ because I've always wanted to have my own art exhibit. Spoiler alert: there's a twist.😉
My third game is the award-winning 🏆 DEADLINES 🏆. Just kidding it has no awards but I'm most proud of this one because it's like a real arcade game and I really stretched to figure out new complicated (to me) code. I also made all the graphics myself!
Spring quarter is over so I'm feeling nostalgic. 😭 My first game was LAST. Confusing, I know. I learned how to import and manipulate 3D objects along with some audio. It was fun to hear my classmate's theories about the story. #SmallGameStudio

I was so happy that my script to rotate the cylinder worked! I tried to see if I could add a sin function to add visual interest. Then I realized this thaumatrope no longer fits my theme, so it may end up being cut. 💀 #SmallGameStudio
I thought illusions would be simple to do since my game is going to be in 3D. So Wrong. In the real world these angles should work, but something about the camera is not "reading" it right. Back to the drawing board. #SmallGameStudio

In "No Where to Hide", a game about hiding, having a mini map is a good design choice. It adds fairness while raising tension because even if you don't see the bad guys on the main screen, you know they're hiding just around the corner. 👀 #SmallGameStudio
Sound and light can do so much. In @marumelonr 's game "Paranoia", the shapes and design are simple. Take away the player's ability to see and add some creepy sounds, and voila! You suddenly have a horror game. youtube.com/watch?v=aNqbQn…

This week I played @citizen_da 's game "I Very Much Don't Want to be Here". I'm not sure if I was playing it right since all I did was bump into people and couldn't get the door open to escape, but it also seems fitting for the title. #SmallGameStudio
