alright, let me actually engage this instead of doing the founder thing where i quote tweet "great feedback!" and quietly die inside @JosipVolarevic2 made a fair point, so i'm not going to argue. i'm going to agree, and then tell you what we're actually doing (and no shade to phantom or solflare, genuinely great wallets, just not built for the person i'm building for) passkeys arent the product. say it with me. they're the onramp. because asking a normal human to write down twelve random words and protect them forever or lose everything isnt onboarding, it's a hazing ritual crypto twitter will defend the seed phrase like it's a personality trait, but my mom is never learning what a recovery phrase is, ever, and she shouldnt have to here's who we're building for: people who get paid in crypto but dont live in crypto. not traders. they dont know what slippage is and they never will. someone sent them money, or they earn in it, and they just want to hold it and spend it. that's the whole job phantom and solflare are incredible if you're already here. but every screen assumes you know the words. you cant bolt "i've never touched crypto" onto that. it's a posture, not a setting you flip honestly my dream for seedless is boring on purpose. i want it to feel like any normal finance or bank app you already use. cash in, hold, send, cash out except under the hood it's all crypto rails. the crypto is the engine, not the dashboard. you should never have to think about it, same way you dont think about tcp/ip when you send an email so removing the seed phrase isnt the pitch. it's the first decision of a wallet for someone the big wallets cant serve. passkeys get them in private send keeps the money theirs. cashing out to your bank is where this is headed, the part that turns a number on a screen into money you can actually use that's the "underserved audience" josip said we were missing. we werent missing it. we were just too busy building it to say it out loud go seedless

Josip is right about one thing. Passkeys are not a new audience But passkeys were never the point. They are the front door Phantom and Solflare won the people willing to write down twelve words and guard them forever. We are building for everyone who saw that and quietly closed the app People who get paid in crypto but have no interest in living in it. They want to receive, hold, and spend. Nothing more The goal is almost boring: a wallet that feels like any money app you already use, with the crypto running quietly underneath. The engine, not the dashboard You cannot retrofit that person onto a wallet built for traders. It is a different first decision That is the wallet we are building

@ownershipfm @phantom @solflare @seedless_wallet well phantom etc "should" have an option to use their wallets without seedphrases and its been a while since solana published the Ed25519 - but they dont offer it yet at least as long as big wallets dont have it its the time to to fill that niche go seedless

so seedless doesn't use a seed phrase, it uses a passkey that passkey lives in icloud keychain on iphone or google password manager on android, same place that already holds ur bank app and email logins if u lose ur phone, you sign back into icloud or google on the new one, your passkey syncs over, you open seedless and your wallet is right there. no 12 words to remember, no screenshots to hide the only account you need to keep safe is the icloud or google one you already protect every day
