The exchange was striking because the caller spoke in measured tones, clearly articulating a view held by millions of people across the country. Yet Iain struggled to process it, repeatedly falling back on “you can’t do that”. Mike highlighted the obvious disconnect: the British public have consistently voted for lower immigration, only for politicians to deliver record levels instead. “There’s a massive disconnect between the political class and the people of this country,” he said. “We never gave any consent to this and there’s certainly no mandate for the scale of immigration we’ve seen.” When Iain pushed back, saying you can’t deport people here perfectly legally, the caller was unflinching: Caller: “You mean end indefinite leave to remain?” Iain: “You can do that for future people but you can’t do that for people who have already got it. That would be outrageous.” Caller: “Yeah you can. Of course you can.” Iain: “From a fairness point of view, you can’t suddenly tell people who’ve got a perfect legal right to be here that we’re changing the rules now…” Caller: “You can, Iain.” Iain: “Well you can do that but is that really the kind of country you want to live in?” Caller: “Yes!” Iain continued to argue that you can’t “take it out on perfectly legal, law-abiding people”, clearly unable to grasp how widespread this frustration has become. The public didn’t always feel this way. Years of politicians ignoring the public on immigration have shifted attitudes dramatically. As the caller made clear, people never voted for this transformation and the consequences of fixing it now rest with those who created the problem. Well worth a listen. The gap between Westminster and the rest of the country has rarely been clearer.

Restore Britain will not just meekly sit back and watch our country be erased in front of our eyes. We will act. We will not just stop mass immigration, we will reverse it. We have already released the most comprehensive deportation policy ever produced in Britain - we are now seeking the power to implement that. Illegals. Gone. We will be unrelenting. If you are in our country illegally, you will be removed. That will be retrospective, that will include every man or woman who has entered the country via small boat. Regardless of what their current status may be. Because remember, thousands and thousands of them are now ‘refugees’. With full access to social housing, benefits, the NHS, schools and more. Restore Britain will revoke that status - they will be sent home. But we will not be distracted - legal immigration is a far bigger problem than illegal. The most severe crisis is at Heathrow and Gatwick, not Dover. If a foreign national is unable to speak English? They will go home. If a foreign national fails to support themselves financially? They will go home. If a foreign national is living on benefits? They will go home. If a foreign national is living in social housing? They will go home. If a foreign national hates our way of life? They will go home. If a foreign national aims to implement Sharia law or politicised radical Islam in Britain? They will go home. Foreign criminals will be ejected before their feet can touch the ground. What happens to them on return to their own country is not our problem. I really don’t care. We will not tolerate gangs of foreign men loitering around our town centres, intimidating and harassing women. It is not normal, and we will not accept it as normal. Britain does not have to be like this. As a political party, Restore Britain will be unapologetic in our pursuit of deportations. Millions will leave. Either through forced removals, or most importantly through self-deportations. It can be done. It should be done. It must be done. If given the power, we will do it. I promise you that. If you want mass deportations, and I mean real mass deportations, vote Restore Britain.
