@Infosec_Taylor We are all conditioned to behave in certain ways. It's hard to get a grip on it all - regardless of how aware, how woke we are. I struggle to get past "being the strong one" even aware of the ambient threads on my personality which push my behaviour in this direction

@chrissyfarr @AlyssaJoyJaffee We were really lucky with a midwife that came everyday and was awesome. She saw beyond the "checkup" and helped us in ways we didn't even know we needed. The greatest support was a reaffirmation that we weren't doing anything wrong along with subtle hints on dealing with Grace.

@chrissyfarr @AlyssaJoyJaffee My wife struggled after the birth of our daughter - nothing major but she felt like she was drowning. Breast feeding was pretty difficult and we found a way forward. There's a lot of sigma - often indirect - about these things. I would love to find a way to provide more support

@chrissyfarr @AlyssaJoyJaffee Something along the lines of an app. Install it a month before birth, monitor phone/app usage. Continue after the birth on the premise that it can be used to detect indicators
