Nah I just feel like I lost a family member dawg. Russ made me love basketball he was everything to me. I can’t love a player like him again. It’s not even possible. The joy he gave me in his prime was second to none. This is a very sad day that shouldn’t be happening.
First started watching Russ in 10-11, the year before they got to the finals. Got hooked on the thunder and Russ immediately. Followed Russ his whole career, everywhere he played was my team (except the Kings). Countless memories I will always cherish.
Man, I will have never seen Russ played live, my favourite player of all time. This will sting for a long time… thank you for everything @russwest44.
