@engineers_feed The problem as described is ill-posed. As the conveyor belt speeds up, it will increase the speed of the wheels, so the two will never be equal. Unless you think wheel friction could overcome engine thrust.
@lukeweston I remember a lot of uproar about the "terminator genes" in Monsanto seeds that would prevent farmers planting the seeds from their own crops. I vaguely recall announcements of that being cancelled. Maybe activists moved on at that point?

It's almost 6 a.m. in Ukraine, and it's a massive rocket strike again. It goes wave by wave, so I can't go to bed. It's important to follow the news and listen to the outside situation. I decided to use this air alert time and reverse engineer something.

@Orad Fair enough, but the question remains - how useful would this average be? A far more useful statement might be that 95% of devices have losses of x dB or less. Beyond that I would look at the distribution on both log and linear scales.
