I kept doing this with more shows until one day, when i was in my living room in West Michigan, i had the realization that this type of study had never been applied to Christian gospels. Out of curiosity, I began rereading the gospels and conducting a deception study on them 2/3

Last year I was watching Demon Slayer and was taking notes to map out every time a character tried to deceive another. By the end of the show, i had put together a great list. It was exciting and i wanted to know more about the motif of deception in other anime too! So i did 1/3

@StudentDocBen I took a chance on a book that was kind of on the peripherals of my focus and ended up really enjoying it “Masters of Deception: Escher, Dali & the Artists of Optical Illusion” Here’s one of my fav pics from it. This image pissed me off at first but then I grew to love it ❤️❤️
