The gender pay gap narrowed by 3 cents last year, according to the WSJ. Full-time women now earn about 84 cents for every dollar earned by men, up from 81 cents. That’s an unusually fast one year move. The paper points to a simple effect: most of the new jobs went to women. Women gained 765,000 jobs since December 2024, while men lost 6,000, and women’s median full-time earnings rose 3.2% while men’s barely moved. That explanation matters because it shows the gender pay gap isn’t a measure of sexism and that men and women are paid differently for the same work. It’s the difference between the earnings of all working women and all working men. When women’s employment rose, the ratio closed. I think it’s time for people to recognize the gender pay gap isn’t the sexist thing they think it is.

Although women are about twice as likely to be diagnosed with depression, men are four times as likely to die from suicide (Oquendo et al., 2002)" Why don't men helpseek? Sexist social standards. Those come from you, too, btw, if you're a woman who's ever told a man to "be a man." As for "male violence," it's interesting all the voices who call to end it never highlight most "male violence" is directed to the self. We’ve never seen anything like this before. A man was conscripted into jury duty by the government. He performed his civic duty and followed his conscience, refusing to acquit a woman who confessed to systematically executing her three children. The defense attorney immediately launched a public smear campaign against the juror. Soon several other jurors joined the campaign. Then the media. Even the defense attorney’s wife has joined. Now they’re doxxing the man, digging into his past, contacting his family, showing up at his house. All of this both to punish him for refusing to go with their program, and to pollute any future jury pool by making it clear that anyone who votes to convict Clancy will have their life destroyed. It’s truly one of the most outrageously evil things we’ve ever seen from the Left, and that’s saying something. A direct assault on the integrity of our justice system. They are burning down every boundary and standard in their path. And doing it all for the sake of a child murdering psychopath. Unfathomable.

Yesterday when I was at One World Trade Center, I ran into a group of New York firemen taking a group picture. They were there honoring those who lost their lives 25 years ago. It reminded me of a statistic most people don’t know. That day, all 343 FDNY who died saving others were men. Men are heroes and protectors. We should show more appreciation for that.
