The validation of the requirements usually take time. There are iterations to ensure it built the right solution . Then there is the stakeholders feedback loop which leads to iterations. Yes it may take a few weeks but if it’s large project , AI expedite a large project that would’ve taken a year down to a few weeks. It’s still leaps and bounds of development work being done in shorter period.
