Yesterday was working from home, not as succesful as Monday or Tuesday, but decently so. Today is final workday of the week. Hoping to make some progress on strategy and do some good coding. Let's go!
Super successful day at work. Little disappointed at the end that I won't get to speak at our internal conference this year but did everything I wanted to do and more. Run was hot, but fun. Was exhausted in the evening though, so no Meridian work regrettably. Perhaps today!
Also planning a quick run over lunch and hope to get some Meridian work done in the evening, but will see about that. Yesterday my evening went to family & relaxation, which was nice & necessary after the busy weekend. Also I started calorie counting again! Went well yesterday.
Alright today's another working day! Today's for technical leadership. Almost wrapped up personal key results and then hoping to dive into operational risk assessment and unifying SRE strategy company-wide. Optionally I've got some coding options, which should be fun.
Managed to wrap up the objectives, not so much the key results. Should be short work tomorrow though. Reason was an unexpected brainstorm meeting that was pretty useful. Brought some new ideas and interactions. Good day. Also ordered business cards for Meridian.
So today's work! Mostly working on Personal & SRE strategy for the coming quarter. Little late, I know, but I'll get this tree to grow still ;-). Morning's meetings, afternoon's for production. Hoping to at least wrap up the personal OKRs today.
So I missed the checkout, but this day was totally successful! Had good family time & good preparations for Sunday, which was amazing. We had 2 good parties that we could genuinely enjoy and I even managed to do a little run-swim-run in between! Good weekend.
Alright, today's family day! Yesterday our youngest turned 3, so today's about doing all the preparations. Also want to get a little bit of work in, but don't have a lot of ambitions there.

I'm resurrecting this account for a bit of personal accountability. I plan to check in ambitions for the day in the morning and check out achievements in the evening. Might do learnings as well. Will see.

Whoa. Apparently HTTP/3 is not based on TCP. That's pretty wild.
HTTP/2 was also updated as the new RFC 9113 rfc-editor.org/rfc/rfc9113.ht… mainly to remove the old prioritization system. Even HTTP/1.1 and general HTTP semantics + caching concepts were tightened up in RFCs 9110-9112. Big day for the arguably most used application layer protocol 😃
