@JG_moves_NZ @alexbozikovic Apparently there is space for it. I'm not suggesting to preventing building housing, rather, ensure that there is daycare space (or at least potential for) for the new residents. Paying market rates for ft^2 is cost prohibitive for daycares & families otherwise.

@DaveThompsonVIC This is great! I bike or drive over or on Fort every day to get our son to or from Castleview daycare - people drive way too fast on Fort and there are often near-misses. Loss of slip lane will make getting home by car a block or two longer but worth it.

@Lanefab Ridiculous little for the ROI. My brother who worked for Whistler Muni and WORCA said often the cost of trails & maintenance vs. a pool, rec centre or other facility is pennies on the dollar.
