Most people think SRP means "a class should only do one thing." I prefer: "a class should only have one reason to change." In SwiftUI, that means if your view knows how data gets saved, it knows too much. UI changes = view changes. Logic changes = view shouldn't care.

Rehearse has been live for a few weeks now and the sales are zero. I can build and I can ship and I can write code all day. but Marketing? it's a different skill set and I'm very much a beginner. does anyone who has launched recently have some tips?

Rehearse v1.1.0 is live. Custom filler words are in, users can now track the specific words they personally overuse. Small feature, big difference to how useful the app actually is.

@saen_dev Completely agree. Burn out can come fast. I do struggle with guilt of not actively doing something on Sundays. I’m still learning to switch off.

Do you take Sundays off or keep building? I’ve tried both. Full rest makes Monday feel better. Building on Sunday makes Monday feel productive before it even starts.

@sparrow824770 @CarlosBBuild Completely agree — informed decisions is the right framing! "Default to struct" is more of a beginner guardrail than a rule. Once you understand the trade-offs, you use whatever fits the problem.

The hardest part of building in public isn't the building. It's the marketing. I can sit down and write SwiftUI code for hours. I know what good looks like, I know when something's wrong, and I know how to fix it. Marketing feels like the opposite. I post something, get no signal, and have no idea if the content was wrong, the timing was wrong, or nobody saw it. Still figuring it out. #buildinpublic

Rehearse v1.1.0 is in App Store review. The headline feature: custom filler words. The default detection is useful, but everyone has their own habits. Some people say "basically" constantly. Others can't stop saying "sort of". Now you can track the ones that actually matter to you. #buildinpublic
