😭💔 I dropped my daughter at school that morning and went to work, never knowing that very day was my last day of seeing my beautiful daughter. A few hours later, I received the most painful news a mother could ever hear — band!ts had attacked the school and kidnapped everyone, including my little girl and her teachers. Since then, my daughter has been in the forest, and I don't know if she is safe or even alive. 😭 The pain is too much for me to bear😭. Every day I cry, pray, and hope for a miracle. The battle against lust is warfare for your purpose in God. The devil seeks to get you comfortable with the idea of a life of compromise whilst identifying with God so that there is no power behind your convictions of God or backing from His Spirit. The pleasure you keep gravitating towards in sin will cost you everything at the other end of what the Lord intends to work through you. You cannot do sacred things whilst cleaving to your sins lest ye be judged by the holy one of Zion. The one who is concerned about pursuing the Lord’s will must necessarily be intolerant of avenues, people and circumstances that triggers his lustful passions lest he spends his years serving Satan as he gives himself over to sin at the expense of his calling in Christ. By all means, resist the reign of lustful passions in your members. For sin does not play games with the one who always indulges, it takes prisoners. And the one who is a slave of his desires does not belong to Christ. Hence Paul admonishes Timothy; “In a great house there are not only vessels of gold and silver, but also of wood and clay; some for honour and some for dishonour. Therefore, if anyone cleanses himself from what is dishonourable, he will be a vessel for honour, sanctified, useful to the Master, prepared for every good work.” - 2 Timothy 2:20-21. The purposes of God concerning the saints cannot be wrought in sin. God is not merely concerned about the outcomes He desires for His people but also the modus by which they come about. Those who do not actively purge their life of sin will be vessels that reveal the judgment of God. All who call upon the name of the Lord will have no fellowship with iniquity first because they have been redeemed from sin by the power of Christ. And because by His Spirt, there is no besetting sin that cannot be overcome, for this is why Christ came; to deliver His people from sin and death.

Doesn’t matter how far gone, Jesus can bring you out. He can redeem the circumstance. There is no such thing as getting to a dead end with the one who was brutally murdered and rose again, showing that the worst man can experience in this world, gruesome death, even that He has power over. Do not despair over your life, cast your burdens on Christ because He cares. He invites you to this. He wants to show Himself great and mighty in your life by making you someone who can go through this broken world with your gaze tethered on something infinite that captivates and satisfies your soul. The meaning of your life is found in His hands alone, true ambition is that which He has placed you here for. Nothing else can replace the design and for every time you keep withholding due to your embrace of inferior passions, your resolve continually weakens. Awake o ye sleeper, run to your Heavenly Father and Christ will give you life.
