@WesTrac_Cat Have to buy more parts now to keep old equipment running. New equipment and engines can’t be delivered to dealers on time. Looking at stock value, it is telling a different story.

Looks like if you are big enough and get caught with Diesels on the market that don’t pass Tier4 standards in testing, you get to stay out of the news if you screw your dealers in return. Corruption and back room deals. It’s the new way of doing business. #EPA #Diesel

So who paid off who to not go public with findings after testing Diesel engines from the big three? Complete shutdown of sales in return. It’s not high demand that is causing the shortage, it’s a secret agreement to save reputation. They will survive, will your business?

@CNNMoney There is a shortage of Diesel engines for heavy machinery and generators. Caterpillar Perkins Kubota and so many others are NOT made in America and are now 25% more thanks to Trump Tariffs. Many equipment manufacturers are laying off employees. Same with the marine industry

@PerkinsEngines Who in North America uses Perkins engines in a Rental Generator? They need to be Tier4 approved and Perkins has not released any in North America. What Rental Support?

@Equipment_World But stocks keep falling and they can’t deliver products. Check lead time for new equipment in North America. When staff start to leave company and calls are not returned about orders, it’s not good news. Increase in sales is in the UK and due to Tier4 hordes

@PerkinsEngines But they can’t deliver one. Talk to any North American distributor. Perkins has failed, like others to deliver orders from past six months and will not be able to fill them until next year. Look at Cat and Perkins stock value. It started 6 month ago

Companies tell you how great sales are. What they don’t want to tell you is their stocks keep falling. Why? Could it be because they failed to deliver in North America? That they directed North American bound products to other markets like UK? @KubotaEngine is not the only one

@PowerSystemPlus Perkins or Cat diesel. Nothing but Diesel. Worldwide diesel is the most popular. Far longer lasting, lower cost to operate and more powerful. Search for reviews on generac or other types of gas units and you will see quickly why they are so cheap and have bad reviews.

Not good news for Equipment manufacturing industry as Cat and Perkins fail to deliver engines as promised. No word on when or if engines will ever become available in North America again. If it’s not sitting on your shelf now, don’t expect any engines until late 2019
