There’s a reason they won’t push this as Grand Coalition, because they know very well this is the kind of coalition that has the potential to serve Kenyans, not their interests. A Maraga, Omtatah and Sifuna led government has the potential to right so many wrongs in this country. That is exactly why the conversation will quickly shift to who can bring votes, who has numbers and who is “electable”, not because they care about Kenya but because they need politicians they can control and who will protect the very system that has looted this country for decades. This idea that we need Person A, B or C because they will “bring votes” needs to end. Go out there and campaign for the candidate you believe in, talk to your family, talk to your cousins, talk to your grandparents, form groups, have conversations, convince people… this is how democracies are won. No one has a monopoly on votes in this country. As someone once said, THE VOTER IS THE KINGMAKER!! Why are we waiting for the same political class that helped ruin this country to tell us which direction Kenya should take? Until we understand that the opposition is not a group of wealthy politicians fighting each other but you, the people, demanding better leadership, we will keep surrendering our power to those who have never had our interests at heart. WANTAM!!

They cut down the acacia trees this week at Kenyatta National Hospital. The marabou storks that had nested there for decades didn’t have anywhere to go😭😭😭. Some died. Some got injured. All because nobody thought to check what was living in those branches first. This is what happens when “development” skips the wildlife-sensitivity conversation entirely. Nairobi keeps growing, but does it have to keep growing over everything else that was already here? Environmental assessments before tree removal shouldn’t be optional. They should be law am speaking for them, can someone hear me please 😭😭😭

The slogan is “Linda Mwananchi.” The new sign in is Aisha Jumwa😳 What a shame!! Nini haswa mna linda? You cannot build a movement around accountability, integrity and putting Kenyans first, then turn around and recruit the very politicians who represent everything people have been complaining about for years. If this is the standard, then “Linda Mwananchi” risks becoming just another political rebrand with a catchy slogan. Also @orengo_james this is beneath you! This is the same Aisha Jumwa who has spent years at the center of political controversy, changing political camps, facing persistent integrity questions, and becoming a symbol of the kind of politics many Kenyans say they want to leave behind. At a time when people are demanding accountability and a complete break from the old political culture, having her in your camp sends the exact opposite message🚶🏿‍♀️ kwendeni uko
