Also gotta feel for Kam Williams who is going through almost the same situation as Adrian Wooley at Louisville. Tons of promise and loyalty shown but Coach keeps bringing in more experienced guys to play over them. I guess that 5th year and NIL has guys willing to be patient.

I hate saying this but with Milan and Mark Mitchell, Kentucky now has a T10 roster on paper, at least. I’m still unsure of how high Pope can take a team with such heavy expectations but it’s all in his hands. Anything less than an elite 8 should be considered a failure.

Wiz might’ve already offered him but I think the best option left would be Bruce Brown. 38% from 3 last season. We know his defense and passing are solid. Not a PG but can definitely be a quality guard/wing. Pretty good championship experience (26 mpg on Denver’s 23’ title run)

This might go on beyond even this season. It might be play guys at your own risk type of situation. My guess is most end up eligible that stay at the same schools. I think the NCAA really doesn’t want these guys transferring. What a mess.

Similar to the way UFC fighters have begun participating in smaller promotions like RAF, it would be pretty cool to see NBA guys play from time to time. Injury risk as always but obviously much less in a 3v3 half court, fixed score setting. It’s been cool for MMA/combat sports.

@_gettingBuckets I just think the ceiling is the same with Garland’s playmaking. And being younger he can at least get better/give energy on D. I’d also be interested in utilizing Mobley more but maybe he doesn’t want that takeover role. I thought by now we’d of seen either 20+ ppg or 5-6 apg.

I don’t think this will end well for Cleveland. Harden might have the worst type of game when it comes to scaling down as he ages. He avg 5 TOpg (12ast-16TO against Knicks) last playoff run and is going on 37 yrs old..yea you reached the conf finals but you hadn’t stalled yet

Cleveland was taking the necessary steps each season in the playoffs losing to Celtics in 24’ and Pacers in 25’ with injuries. Both semi finals. Making the conf finals but getting swept is not a step up. And even if it is, it’s minimal for a 10+ year older HoFer being inserted.
