It seems that many people I once considered friends are now distancing themselves and don't engage with your social media posts. They appear to be observing from afar, which might leave you feeling quite isolated.
I used to enjoy seeing my old friends and acquaintances, but social media has made it so they don't feel the need to see me in person anymore. They see what you're doing, and that's good enough.
It's widely known that those most enthusiastic about AI are the ones who are profiting from it and are therefore its staunchest defenders. And that goes for Social Media also.
If social media collapsed. It will truly feel like a weight has been lifted from my shoulders! It isn't my fault I can't use it anymore; the company went out of business. Most people feel this way, and I almost feel pressured, like people are wondering why I'm not using it.
The entire concept of the internet is essentially worthless. All it has really accomplished is exposing you to the strangers who operate it, primarily so they can bombard you with advertisements.
If Social Media does crash and burn will that be so bad? I've been using it for years now, and it hasn't benefited me in any way. It hasn't helped me make money, connect with new people, or even reconnect with old acquaintances. We only communicate on social media, if at all.
I keep hearing that AI isn't winning over the vast majority of people. We don't trust it and don't have much use for it in everyday life. It'll automate jobs and replace people. Unless new jobs are made for robots, they'll replace people. There's no room.
@elonmusk I can hardly think of ways to use AI besides a quick answer to a question. But even the quick answer is usually not in depth, so why do I need AI agents?

A young black bear comes crashing through the branches after wildlife officers tranquilize it high in a tree in the middle of Denver. Officers manage to catch and secure the roughly 100-pound bear after the rough tumble. "It didn't have the smoothest landing, but the bear is ok!" Colorado Parks and Wildlife says. The 1.5-year-old bear is now being relocated to better habitat as drought conditions push more bears into Colorado neighborhoods looking for food.
@CBSNews Perhaps everyone nowadays should travel around with a body camera to record everything. People might do this with smart glasses or some other AI devices, but if they're recording you, you might as well record them too.
A routine traffic stop in Parker, Colorado, took an unexpected turn when an officer realized the driver spoke Mandarin. She used the translation feature on her body camera to translate her English instructions into Mandarin, explaining that his taillight was out and why he was being stopped.
Did you know Elon Musk was weirdly "predicted" in a Wernher von Braun book nearly 80 years ago? In his 1948 novel *Project Mars*, von Braun describes a future Martian government led by a figure called the "Elon." It's not a person's name, but a title for the head of government. Still, considering Elon Musk's lifelong obsession with Mars, this has to be one of the strangest coincidences in space history!
