The Hidden Trap in the GRVT x Binance Booster Campaign: Why Thousands of Users Are Getting the "Verification Failed" Error Today. At exactly 03:00 UTC, a massive number of users tried to verify their DApp tasks to claim a spot in the 600-user reward pool for the 250,000 $GRVT allocation. Instead of a success message, most were hit with this exact pop-up: "000002=SQUARE_POST: user is not in the reward list." Here is the technical catch that was never clearly communicated in the UI. The campaign advertised two separate pools: A Top 300 Leaderboard pool, and a 600-user "First Come, First Served" DApp pool. Naturally, users assumed the 600-user pool was independent of the Leaderboard rankings. However, to claim the 600-user pool, you had to clear all DApp tasks. The final task was strictly coded as "Post and Hit Leaderboard." This means the system hard-coded the Top 300 requirement into the 600-user DApp pool. If you finished at rank 301 or lower, the DApp automatically blocked your verification for the entirely separate 600-user pool. The mathematical proof? Look at the second screenshot. Just minutes into the verification window, the prompt shows "520 quota left." A 600-user capacity pool gated behind a 300-user leaderboard guarantees at least 300 spots will remain empty forever. The math does not add up, and the wording was highly misleading for retail participants who spent days providing free engagement for the campaign. Transparency is the foundation of Web3. These users are bypassing the entire product thesis. They put zero capital at risk, provide zero liquidity, and engage with exactly zero of the platform's unified balance features. Why does this matter for TGE on July 21? Because "point-parking" behavior creates Ghost TVL. When you reward 1.5M tokens to users with absolutely zero friction and a $0 cost basis, they do not hold. They dump on Day 1. Who do they dump on? The Season 2 liquidity providers who actually locked up the $107.1M TVL.
