@InfernusSerpens + assume he had quite a bit to do with the orders themselves." Sandalphon's head always had been shoved quite far...𝘶𝘯𝘥𝘦𝘳 𝘎𝘢𝘣𝘳𝘪𝘦𝘭'𝘴 𝘸𝘪𝘯𝘨, one could say.

@InfernusSerpens + whether he answered or not, something simply terrible was lying in wait on the horizon. It wasn't all that far-fetched, considering the constant tensing of muscles happening beneath him by then. "It wasn't by his 𝘩𝘢𝘯𝘥," he corrected, lips pursing momentarily, "though I +

Ah, yes. Surely that was his 𝘰𝘯𝘭𝘺 reasoning for making such a particular choice. Feeling more exposed, quite frankly, than when he'd been wearing nothing at all, Aziraphale huffed out a sigh and crossed his arms. A very pointed look being shot at the demon in the process. +

@InfernusSerpens + inadvertently brushing against his pulse point in the process. "You 𝘸𝘦𝘳𝘦𝘯'𝘵," the blonde insisted, eyelids fluttering momentarily closed. "It was just a rather miserable day, all around." And a miserable several years to follow, truth be told.

@InfernusSerpens He felt his companion tense up, and couldn't help but sigh in response. It was a conversation that had been bound to happen, of course; that didn't make it any less outright 𝘢𝘸𝘧𝘶𝘭. Slumping just a bit further left him with his face buried in Crowley's neck, lips +

@InfernusSerpens + anything, really, save for the meek, near-to-tears apology he'd managed to offer up for having caused such offense. It was only once the demon had left that he'd allowed himself to collapse under the weight of the day and 𝘴𝘰𝘣. "It was a long time ago; it's quite alright."

@InfernusSerpens + tried to stave off. By the time that Crowley had started in on giving him the what for about it all, he'd honestly just been too tired to try and make a case for himself. To tired to explain, or shift the burden of blame off to the archangels. Too tired to say much of +

@InfernusSerpens + 𝘦𝘹𝘱𝘭𝘢𝘪𝘯, really. Crowley never had been one for entertaining whatever he might view as a slight for very long, nevertheless from an 𝘢𝘯𝘨𝘦𝘭. Once he'd gotten it in his head that his companion wasn't feeling particularly appreciative of his efforts, well...

@InfernusSerpens + changing his fate had been. Aziraphale could remember well the events of Crowley's visit, some hours after the fact. His back still so freshly 𝘢𝘤𝘩𝘪𝘯𝘨 under those irritatingly prim and proper clothes of his. "You couldn't have known." There had been no time to +

@InfernusSerpens + Sodom and Gomorrah, with a whip clenched in its fist... "I don't want to speak of this 𝘢𝘯𝘺 𝘮𝘰𝘳𝘦, Crowley!" If they kept talking about it, he just might end up realizing that it did, in fact, still hurt to think about. That it wasn't quite so far in the past after all.

@InfernusSerpens 𝘈𝘳𝘤𝘩𝘢𝘯𝘨𝘦𝘭𝘴. There was certainly a reaction there, whether he'd intended for there to be or not. A sudden lump in his throat, which had been in dire need of swallowing. A roll of the shoulders, as he thought back on the sight of Sandalphon, the proud destroyer of +

@InfernusSerpens + alter fate, in any form or fashion. He was 𝘯𝘰𝘵 to see Oscar again, from that point onward. Obviously, all that had worked out just swimmingly. "Angels are meant to do as we're told...and I didn't." He should have known better than to try and cheat fate. "It's 𝘮𝘺 fault."

@InfernusSerpens + bring him any sort of distraction from what, at the time, he'd believed that he could never have. There had been quite a firm warning delivered from the head office, before the man had ever stood his trial. Aziraphale was 𝘯𝘰𝘵 to interfere. He was 𝘯𝘰𝘵 to try and +

@InfernusSerpens + chest suddenly, on impulse, grasping at what would have been the spot where the collar of a shirt would lay, were he to have been fully clothed. He knew. He knew, and Aziraphale knew that he did. "Crowley..."

@InfernusSerpens + way that Crowley spoke that little endearment, that had let him know he must be mistaken. Well before the precise number to those years had gone and slipped from his forked tongue. The blonde tensed up, at that. The fingertips that had been resting idly at the other man's +
