HELL YES 💪💪 I’ve squatted and pulled heavy with a belt and without … shit last powerlifting meet I did in 2014 in New Zealand I walked my 2nd attempt out of the racks and realized I’d forgotten my belt … got the squat signal … 3 white lights with 270kg and no belt!!!

Pro tip for the keyboard warriors: Belt = cheating? I just hit 130kg squat beltless. It’s not heavier, not lighter , it’s just without a belt. Also, the belt didn’t kill my abs… still got a six-pack and I haven’t done a single crunch in years.

Happy Birthday AMERICA 🇺🇸 250 years Damn I’m old I remember celebrating the Bicentennial 😆😉 Great day today!! Nice breakfast before heading to the beach early this morning!! Then it was off to my favorite coffee shop to enjoy my PubSub and an iced latte and read my new book from @zevenesh Next I’ll be heading to Jambos for the best damn Italian Ice in the world Plan on being home with Miss Dora before the fireworks even begin tonight enjoying a steak, fries and a Shiner Bock!! This is a great article!! I’ve been in love with the Push Press Behind the Neck since it was taught me back in the late 70’s!!! My old boss with the Spurs use to give me that “you’re gonna ruin your shoulders” when he’d see me regularly doing triples with 170kg+ One of my favorite combos is 5 Behind the Neck Presses + 5 Overhead Squats My shoulders are strong as ever!! Thanks brother!! Bill Starr wrote an article a long time ago about the disappearance of the press. I visited a gym in Austin Texas when I first moved there in 1984, I happened to walk in when a couple big thick ass dudes challenged each other to a behind the neck push press contest, winner hit 515 pounds then they started doing rows with 405 pounds!! That was burned into my brain!!! So awesome to witness it

That’s a great question!!! I’m with you and I think about that … ain’t no way someone is gonna say shit to me without getting slapped I think my thinking has become calloused because I just scroll on Too many idiots hiding and commenting, it’s been going on too long all the way back to message boards. Thinking this picture was early -2000’s with my training partner Milo. We trained together for over 10 years, never missed a session and helped each other when we’d compete…we both won a lot of championships. I consider him the best damn training partner I ever had in all the years I’ve been lifting and competing 💪 He and I have driven 5 hours just to lift with other crazed maniacs, ate some food and drove 5 hours back!!! #NewProfilePic

Had a cyst on my forearm, my buddy gets a big ass book and while I hold my arm he slams the book on it!! One of the kids I rain, his dad is a doctor sees us and says “oh the old Family Bible trick, when it comes back and it’s gonna be pissed off when it does, bring a big bag of money to the office and I’ll remove it for you!!” Yeah … couple days later I showed up to get it properly cut out!!
